A visa is the document that allows you to enter a country legally. Travelling to countries in the same geographical area as our own eliminates the need for a visa. However, travelling to different geographical areas does require a visa for identity checks. For most travellers, with the exception of Moroccan nationals, airport tax and visas are formalities that can be completed online or on arrival.<\/p>\n

Do French nationals need a visa to visit Cape Verde?<\/h2>\n
French nationals are exempt from this document for Cape Verde. This provision has been made public since 1 January 2019. From now on, all French nationals can travel to Cape Verde without needing a visa.<\/strong>. However, this measure does not only concern French citizens. It also concerns all European citizens and the inhabitants of the small states of Monaco and Andorra. More than sixty countries are affected.<\/p>\n
However, it should be noted that the maximum length of stay authorised without a visa by the Cape Verdean authorities is 30 days<\/strong>. For stays longer than that, you will inevitably need to obtain a visa.<\/p>\n
