Do I need a passport to go to Cape Verde?

Pre-registration required for travel to Cape Verde

To travel to Cape Verde, you need to pre-register 5 days before departure. This is done on the official Cape Verde government website. You need to fill in information about your passport, your stay and your place of accommodation in Cape Verde.

When you pre-register, you must make a declaration via the EASE form for Cape Verde.

Once you have sent the information, you will receive the travel authorisation in PDF format. It should be printed in colour for presentation on arrival in Cape Verde, by air only.
