For a travel to Cape Verde, pre-registration E.A.S.E is a compulsory step for international travellers over two years old travelling to Cape Verde. Registration concerns all nationalities normally exempt from visas for a certain length of stay and allows you to arrive at four international airports: Boa Vista, Praia, Sal, São Vicente and stay in Cape Verde 90 days maximum.
The price of this document, which is often compared to an electronic visa (EASE) Cape Verde, is €31 per traveller, the amount of the compulsory airport security tax excluding service charges. We advise you to make the request 3 days before your arrival on the island. We will actually submit it just before you enter Cape Verdean territory.
When should you travel to Cape Verde?
The dry period is ideal for visiting Cape Verde, running from November to June. This is a popular destination for teleworkers, all year round.
Places to visit in Cape Verde
Santa Luzia, a protected nature reserve, only people authorised by the Ministry of the Environment have access. However, you can take part in turtle monitoring camps organised by the NGO Biosfera 1, by reservation only.
In the heart of the island, discover the Viana desert. Fine sand, groves of stunted acacia trees, it's impossible to get lost here. We recommend getting there very early in the morning or late in the afternoon to enjoy the charm of this pocket desert.
Accompanied by a guide, observe lemon sharks in the calm waters of Santa Maria. Thrills guaranteed! The green lung of the archipelago, will offer you a backdrop rich in vegetation. Banana plantations, papayas, rum factories and hiking will enliven your stay on the island of Santo Antão.
